Part 1 (see my example below)
- Begin a new blog entry.
- Call it Dancing Around the World
- At the top, add the complete Where the &%#@ is Matt YouTube video
- Choose one place on each of the continents (except) Antarctica where you will dance with Matt.
- Take a screen shot of each of those places (Command/Shift/4) and save them to your desktop or a folder on your desktop
- Write a sentence or two about each of the places you danced.
- Add a photo to each.
- Publish
Example
To start the New Year, I decided to dance my way around the world. I am not a very good dancer, but heck, neither is my guide Matt. We are going to stop in at least one place on each of the continents except Antarctica.
My first stop was in Boise, Idaho. We danced on the football field at Boise State University.
My second stop was in Athens Greece. We danced on this cool bridge there with a bunch of modern Greeks.
After Greece, we headed south to Rwanda. I wanted to visit Frederick and Zachary's school there, but first we danced in Kigali.
Frederick's school had just started, and after visiting there, I headed north to a refugee camp in Rafah on the Gaza Strip. They even dance there!
Next stop the down under to Australia/Oceania continent. I decided to get tropical and dance in the jungles of Poria, Papua New Guinea.
Last stop South America and the Carribean. I decided to go to my first Carnival celebration on the island of Trinidad. It was pretty wild.
After all that dancing, I was pretty tired. I slept all the way home on my last flight. Here is a map of all the places I danced:
Part 2 (see my example below)
- Open your Blogger Account
- Open a new tab and go to Google Maps
- Click My Places
- Select Create Map
- Find Santa Barbara Middle School.
- Put a schoolhouse marker icon there and label it SBMS.
- Save.
- Find your first stop.
- Put a marker there and label it.
